| About GODDING BUILDERS of Rhinelander, WI. |
- The owner, FRED GODDING grew up on his parents and grandparents
together to build and maintain the cottages. This building experience and
working with the tools and equipment, gave FRED the background he needed
to pursue a carer in the building trades. Fred attended Wausau Technical
Institute and majored in Residential Design. Fred graduated #1 in his class.
Then in Rhinelander he spent five years designing and building store fronts,
canopies, windows and doors for the Rhinelander Glass Company. This gave
him
excellent experience in the design and construction field. Since wood was
his first love, rather than metal andglass, Fred decided to strike out on his
own as "GODDING BUILDERS" in 1966.
With building going strong, a crew of talented men was soon added.
Our Foreman, Bruce, began working when he was a Freshman in High
School in 1969. Bruce enjoys building a home from the rough frame
work to the finishing trim, panelings, mouldings and finally the fine
custom cabinetry to finish the project. Kyle is an excellent stain and
finishing man. Terry designs and fashions seamless joints and fittings
that are superb.
The initial meeting with a client is very important to us. We show a
respect for your ideas, needs and questions. Every projects is unique
and requires special attention.
Our years of helping people realize how to increase the value of their
present home, or to build more space and pleasure into their home will
give you a new look and joy in your daily life.
A starting point would be to discuss your needs and then design and
draw a plan to show the possibilities. We can show past projects that
may be similar to show the quality and ability of our craftsmanship and
experience.
We are accredited with the Better Business Bureau as an A+ rating.
We have the state mandated Dwelling Contractor Financial
Responsibility Certification and Contractor Qualifier Certification. This
means we are adequately insured and have the necessary construction
knowledge for your project
